The first game in the series was first released in 1998 on Nintendo 64, and saw a Virtual Console port on the Wii later on. The second game, 1080° Avalanche, was released for Nintendo Gamecube, in 2003.

1080° Snowboarding is available for Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Wii through Virtual Console.
