Marvelous shared the latest on Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal with information on upcoming DLC characters that include Hebijo Clandestine and Gessen Girls’ Academy characters, and the “Burst System.”
When your Burst meter fills up during action it makes it possible to activate “Burst Mode.” While in Burst Mode your power vastly increases and you can keep linking Aerial Raves. Again, by pressing a specific button during Burst Mode you can perform a powerful “Burst Finish” special attack from the ground or in mid-air.
Moreover, defeating a boss character while in Burst Mode will show a special cutscene where the opponent’s clothes get completely destroyed.
As for the DLC info, members of both Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy and Gessen Girls’ Academy will be playable via DLC. The characters that will be available via DLC are Murakumo, Yozakura, Shiki, Minori, Murasaki, Imu, Ryobi, and Ryona. They will be free for two weeks and will cost money afterwards.
It was also revealed that Miyabi will join Yumi in her prequel story, which will be available as a paid DLC.
