Recommended Videos

Now that Monster Hunter: World has arrived, Capcom has been sharing a series of The Making of Monster: Hunter World videos that talks to the people behind the game. It looks at what went into creating the game. The second installment is up, and it focuses on the game’s design.

Monster Hunter: World’s design video begins in an interesting way, as it starts by showing how umbrellas were used to create the sound of a Rathalos’ wings flapping. It then talks about the challenges that came from developing a console installment of the game, bringing in people who have been working on the series for the years and console veterans. It also goes over weapon and armor design.

Monster Hunter: World is available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will come to the PC in Autumn 2018.
