While Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection just got new pre-order bonuses in the West, fans in Japan will have to wait a little longer for its release as Capcom announced the game has been delayed from Spring 2018 to TBD.
In a message shared from longtime Street Fighter producer Tomoaki Ayano, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, or Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection International in Japan, says the game has been delayed from its initial Spring 2018 release window to “to-be determined.”
He added that since its announcement in December 2017, they’ve taken in a lot of feedback from fans. Having received all the feedback and demand, in order to do their best to fulfill wishes from fans it was decided to delay the release to an unannounced date.
While Ayano-san didn’t go into specific details, we previously reported that fans from Japan voiced their displeasure upon learning that the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will only come with the English titles, voicing, and text.
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection releases in the West on May 29, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’ll release later in Japan.
