We previously learned that Aquaplus was recruiting for several Utawarerumono projects in the works, and today we learned that it’s an action game in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

The game was previously had the code name UTZ when Aquaplus said that it will be announced this spring. The action game will feature taller characters, so they’ll be different from the chibi-style in previous entries.

Its main theme will be performed by Suara, and it’ll also come with a Story Mode. Not much else was shared about its story, but it will feature Kuon, Haku, Nekone, and Ougi.

Utawarerumono Zan will release in 2018 for PlayStation 4.
