Back on March 29, 2018, Blizzard teased a new Overwatch event by stating mission archives from the King’s Row Uprising were going to be released on April 10, 2018. During the Overwatch League on April 4, 2018, it was revealed that this will be a new Retribution Event that will be a story-based, players versus environment map with set characters. It will run from April 10-30, 2018.

The Overwatch Retribution event characters will have players using Gabriel Reyes (Reaper), Genji, McCree and Moira. Venice’s map will be used, and we will see what actually happened that evening during the Blackwatch mission. 100 items from last year’s event will be available, not to mention 60 new items that will include emotes, highlight intros, skins and sprays. New Reaper and Moira skins have been confirmed. A new comic offering background, “Retribution,” is available to read for free.
