Days after the conclusion of .hack://G.U. arrives in North America, CyberConnect2 announces .hack://G.U. Trilogy. Surprisingly, this isn’t a bundle pack of the three .hack://G.U. games for the Playstation 2. .hack://G.U. Trilogy is coming on a Blu-ray disc, which means you can enjoy Haseo’s three games (again?) in high definition. Fans of the .hack series are probably excited about this, but it seems so sudden to re-release .hack://G.U. The real world is just closing the books on the World Version 2.
No new content has been specified, but CyberConnect2 mentions there will be new challenges. Two projects unveiled, one to go!
Correction – this is a Blu-Ray disc movie and DVD movie with a few new elements to flesh out the story. The original anime is set to come out on January 25, 2008. I apologize for the confusion regarding the error.
