Pikuniku’s Gameplay Trailer Shows Goofy Explorations

Recommended Videos

Back in August 2017, Devolver Digital and Sectordub revealed it was working on a colorful exploration game with hidden depths called Pikuniku for the Nintendo Switch and PC. Now, almost a year later, a gameplay trailer has been released showing how it can be a goofy exploration game with more serious elements at the same time.

In Pikuniku, players follow a creature known as Piku. Piku is living in a dystopian world, exemplified in the trailer by other villagers keeping the character caged up at one point and referring to them as a beast. Your goal is to explore the world, help people by performing different tasks, and solve puzzles as they pop up. There is even a local cooperative multiplayer mode that brings in Niku, a character nearly identical to Piku.

Pikuniku will come to the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018.
