Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs’ Royal Edition, which has launched for consoles, brings some new challenges with it through the game’s new endless battle mode, which offers a constant stream of randomly-generated battles to push players’ tactical skills.
Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs gifts players with a kingdom, but one that’s in massive debt. To pay off what the kingdom owes, players will have to set out into a world of danger and adventure, battling enemies and monsters in turn-based combat. Players won’t have to do this alone, as they can recruit many different, silly characters met throughout the game’s world, getting to know them and enhancing their usefulness through spending time with them in Persona-like personal moments.
The Royal Edition offers endless new fights through The Unending Grimoire, a device which allows players to battle monsters in randomly-generated combat. These fights do not advance the in-game calendar, so players won’t have to worry about wasting time, and they’ll also give them opportunities to use new characters, also unlocked in the Royal Edition, getting used to the abilities of an array of unique new warriors and allies.
The Royal Edition of Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs is available now on Steam, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
