Fallen Legion: Rise To Glory Adds New Story Branches And Five New Playable Characters

Hi Siliconera readers!

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory is almost here and thanks to our partnership with NIS America we were able to create brand new content for Nintendo Switch. This trailer has a peek at the new story branches, intimidating boss battles, and five new playable characters in the game.

Did you catch the Succubus and Alarune? Both of these bosses were designed to challenge players who mastered Fallen Legion’s intense battle system. Depending on your choices, you may see new story branches, get Antoinette to side with Princess Cecille in Sins of an Empire or convince Aurelius who appears as a boss in Flames of Rebellion to shift sides and join Legatus Laendur.

While I was programming Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory, I rewrote the core code to optimize the game and add new features like the manual link attack system. If a character has full AP, you can hold ZR and A, B, or Y to use their link attack at the cost of all that character’s AP. Link attacks also work by canceling attacks from one character to another just like before too so players have another option when facing fearsome foes. We also added a Japanese voice over option, wrote new lore, and got Switch video capture working too! Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory comes out on May 29 in the Americas and June 1st in Europe. Arc System Works will release the game in Japan and Asia this summer.
