Super Weekend Mode mixes elements of shmups and falling block games, having players shoot and collect things as they work to help a princess retrieve her stolen stuff from the underworld.
In Super Weekend Mode, players will have to blast an array of bosses using their beam weapon if they want their things back. However, players won’t just be dodging around incoming enemy fire as they shoot back, as some of the items falling down the screen need to be collected to keep the battle going. Players will need to watch the lines of shots for hearts they should grab, objects they should block in order to bounce away, or skull shots they should avoid to stay in the battle.
Depending on how players do while facing down these cute bosses, they will receive more power-ups. Super Weekend Mode rewards more items based on the number of lives players have at the end of a stage, so players will need to take extra care to get the highest score.
