Kirby: Star Allies Datamine Suggest Next Seven Dream Friends

Recommended Videos

In Kirby: Star Allies, people can go to special palaces to summon Dream Friends, legendary characters who can join Kirby’s party and help him through the game. You can also choose to play as these characters in Guest Star ????: Star Allies Go! and The Ultimate Choice. A datamine conducted by LuigiBlood has revealed a second and third wave of new Dream Friends. Nintendo did note before that more friends would be added via updates, as the one that offered Gooey, Marx and the Rick, Kine and Coo trio was noted to be the first. (Thanks, GameXplain!)

Editor’s note: spoilers will follow.

Here is the list of Kirby: Star Allies characters set to apparently appear. The games they hail from are also noted.

  • Adeleine (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards)
  • Dark Meta Knight (Kirby & The Amazing Mirror)
  • Daroach (Kirby Mass Attack and Kirby: Squeak Squad)
  • Magolor (Kirby’s Return to Dream Land)
  • Susie (Kirby: Planet Robobot)
  • Taranza (Kirby: Triple Deluxe)
  • Three Mages (presumably the Jambastion Mages Flamberge, Francisca and Zan Partizanne from Kirby: Star Allies)

LuigiBlood notes that Guest Star ????: Star Allies Go! sequencing data offered the Stage ID ordering Dlc2AdeleineStep01_01, Dlc2DarkMetaKnightStep01_01, Dlc2DaroachStep01_05, Dlc3MagolorStep01_05, Dlc3SusieStep01_05, Dlc3TaranzaStep01_05 and Dlc3ThreeMagesStep01_05 data. This notes the divide between the upcoming Dream Friends, suggesting Adeleine, Dark Meta Knight and Daroach will arrive in the second wave and Magolor, Susie, Taranza and the Three Mages will arrive in the third.

Kirby: Star Allies is available for the Nintendo Switch.
