June 6 is a special day, as it happens to be the birthdays of both Yoko Taro and the protagonist of NieR (RepliCant). Famitsu is celebrating with the birthday boy and key staff in a special “Onii-chan, happy birthday” NieR birthday meet broadcast on June 6.
In addition to June 6 being the birthday of Yoko Taro and Nier (pictured above), it’s also the day SINoALICE launched for smartphones last year in Japan.
As for the special Famitsu live stream, it’ll take place on June 6 at 8:00pm JST via YouTube and NicoNico Live. It’ll feature NieR series creator Yoko Taro, staff from Famitsu, Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito, composer Keiichi Okabe, and cosplayer/tarot card reader Nagisa.
NieR first released in Japan on April 22, 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox One.
