Zanki Zero Gets A Live-Action Video About Aging And Reviving

Recommended Videos

In Spike Chunsoft’s upcoming survival RPG you’ll see a repeat of the main characters aging, dying, and reviving as clones again. We get a glimpse of that in a live-action cinematic trailer.

Each character in Zanki Zero has a 13-day lifespan, and their current ages show in the game. There are many ways to die, including everything from allergies to wild animals. There’s a way to revive characters as clones, but it won’t always be possible; however, when a character does come back to life they’ll gain a new strength based on how they died. You can read more on that here and here.

Siliconera recently spoke with Zanki Zero producer Yoshinori Terasawa who had more to share on the idea behind character aging and comparisons with the studio’s popular Danganronpa series.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning releases in Japan on July 5, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will release in the West for PS4 and PC.
