Yesterday, it seemed that Microsoft may have leaked the Shenmue I & II release date a little early. Today, we have confirmation that the collection will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 21, 2018. Sega has released a new trailer confirming the launch, as well as updated a Steam product listing.
A pre-order promotion is in effect for digital copies of Shenmue I & II. If people commit ahead of launch, 10% will be taken off of the price. That means it will go from $29.99/£24.99 to $26.99/£22.49. This is in effect on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Steam.
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One physical copies are also available to pre-order. These have reversible cover art and come with a double-sided poster.
Shenmue I & II HD will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 21, 2018.
