Publisher FuRyu recently announced a new roguelike RPG for Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs on PlayStation 4. Here are its first screenshots and details on how the game plays.
The game is based on Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs which is getting its TV anime debut on July 24, featuring Kogarashi, Yuuna, Sagiri, and many other familiar faces. As for the story, it’s an original story for the game that will see Kogarashi get taken inside the “Miniature Garden of Dreams” so Yuuna and the others must dive inside dungeons to bring him back.
With it being an original story, the game will feature many scenes where you’ll see characters interactions in the Adventure Part that you won’t see elsewhere.
The dungeons change its shape each time you go inside to defeat monsters. You’ll lose all your items if you’re defeated, in true roguelike fashion. There will be all kinds of events that await in these dungeons.
The Adventure part is told through the fully-voiced scenes featuring the cast from the TV anime. You might even get to see sides of Yuuna and the others that they don’t normally show.
And of course it wouldn’t be Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs without hot springs to relax and recover after an adventure. However, there are some naughty spirits that appeared and you’ll need to help “wash it off.”
First-print copies of the game comes with three double-sided pillow covers, a mini-visual guide book, a special illustration package, and a DLC for an original costume. Pre-orders include an original “Body Soap” weapon and a “Pokorun Outfit” costume.
