Nitrome’s Bomb Chicken launched on Nintendo Switch yesterday, and the explosive indie game got a new launch trailer showing off new gameplay segments.

The chicken can’t jump by itself, instead relying on laying bombs in order to reach high places, solve puzzles and defeat enemies. Here’s the full introduction for the game:

Who doesn’t love chicken…especially when it’s smothered in delicious blue hot sauce? After a freak accident, a seemingly ordinary chicken becomes a bomb laying free range hero. Explore the versatile mechanic of laying bombs in this explosive exploration platformer.

Lay bombs to reach high places, blow up deadly wildlife, Throw bombs to trigger switches, Use bombs as a handy weight, Create a barricade of bombs, Blast through ground and break into secret areas, Set things on fire and watch them burn! Discover the darkest kept secret of the fast food giant known as BFC, their bestselling addictive blue hot sauce, and answer the ultimate question: Which came first the chicken or the bomb?

Nitrome is a noteworthy British indie developer who have a history of making Flash games. Some of their past games include Dirk Valentine, Feed Me, Final Ninja, and the Skywire series of games. (People who frequented Miniclip or Armor Games might know of their past games!)

Bomb Chicken is currently available for Nintendo Switch.
