In today’s Capcom TV livestream, gameplay footage of Blast Man’s stage from Mega Man 11 was shown off, as well as the first live gameplay look at Rookie Hunter Mode in Mega Man X Legacy Collection.

Blast Man’s stage is full of enemies who will launch fireballs or other things that will detonate the red-colored bombs scattered throughout the level. Some enemies get knocked backwards and explode, while there are also tripwires that will set off the fuse for explosions.

There are also buses and platforms that will burst upwards thanks to the explosions, and while some are useful for getting a health pickup or two, some others might directly send you flying into ceiling spikes. The Speed Gear will be very useful in taking some stress off the timing of these platforming sections.

Here’s the full section of Blast Man’s stage below (footage starts from the 1:58:58 mark):

Rookie Hunter Mode in Mega Man X3 was also shown off. By turning on the feature, Mega Man X will receive half damage. You can see the feature in the gameplay segment below (starts 1:30:45):

Mega Man 11 will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 2, 2018. Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 will be released on July 24, 2018 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
