Bandai Namco has not revealed the August 2018 launch date for the Nintendo Switch Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta yet, but it has revealed three kinds of local multiplayer features people will be able to try. When people participate in the test, they will be able to participate in 1v1 and 2v2 Matches and in 6-player offline Party Matches.

The match types are particularly notable. In Dragon Ball FighterZ, matches are currently 3v3 affairs. This is the first time 1v1 and 2v2 matches will appear in the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 27, 2018 and in North America and Europe on September 28, 2018. Its Nintendo Switch open beta will begin in August 2018. The game is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
