Capcom Is Working On A Fix For Monster Hunter: World PC Crashes

Reports have come in from people playing the PC version of Monster Hunter: World, with some noting how demanding it can be in terms of power and others bringing up crashing issues. However, information has come in from Capcom regarding the issue. PC Gamer has received notice from Capcom that the development team is working on a patch for the PC port and will issue a patch at an undetermined time to repair it. IGN also experienced the crashes and received a similar response from Capcom.

PC Gamer’s James Davenport noted that the PC being used to play Monster Hunter: World met the minimum and recommended requirements, as the minimum involves either an Intel Core i5-4460, 3.20GHz or AMD FX 6300 processor and recommended was an Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz, Intel Core i3 8350 4GHz, or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, while the two being used were an Intel Core i7 5960X and Intel Core i7 7700HQ. Davenport noted that CPU usage was at 100% when the game would crash, which he said happened about every hour.

Monster Hunter: World will come to the PC on August 9, 2018. It is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
