Unties and Neetpia announced via Famitsu that the Touhou action tower defense game Gensokyo Defenders is getting a Nintendo Switch release this fall in Japan.

The above trailer for the PC version of the game gives you a good idea how the game plays. You take control of 20 characters with unique abilities to defend such as weakening, freezing, knocking back, and more. Since you’ll be taking on waves of enemies at a time, you’ll need to use a variety of traps to help defend the base while freely moving around to take out enemies with your character.

Gensokyo Defenders releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan in Fall 2018. The game is available in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PC.
