Back in April 2018, we learned the reboot of Penguin Wars, for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, had been delayed. Now, the new release date for both consoles has been confirmed. People in North America and Europe can get Penguin Wars on the Nintendo Switch on August 15, 2018 and on the PlayStation 4 on August 30, 2018.
Originally, Penguin Wars had a May 15, 2018 release window for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. At that point, a general June 2018 release window was offered.
In Penguin Wars, you play dodgeballs with Penguins and other animals. There is a campaign to go through, as well as a versus mode that can be played locally or online.
Penguin Wars is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan.
