Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero Shows How To Let It Rip Using Joy-Con Controllers

Recommended Videos

A new Beyblade game, titled Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero is in development for Nintendo Switch and publisher FuRyu shared a new introduction video to tell us what itā€™s all about.

Similar to past Beyblade titles in Japan, Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero will come with its own exclusive Beyblade toy as shown off by FuRyu early in the video. We get a first look at some gameplay at the 2:55 mark of the video that starts out by using the left Joy-Con to place the shot and the A button to confirm. Once thatā€™s set, you tilt the Joy-Con at an angle, similar to an actual Beyblade Launcher, then with your right Joy-Con you press the Y and ZR buttons before letting it rip.

Youā€™ll know if you pulled off a good shot when cool effects are shown around your Beyblade. While spinning, youā€™ll also get to use ACs to directly perform a move with the Beyblade to defeat opponents.

The game features over 40 characters and 50 types of Beyblades including some of the newest ones, and youā€™ll get to customize them any way you like.

Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero releases in Japan on October 25, 2018 for Nintendo Switch.
