Threads of Fate and the sequel that never was

Square-Enix has been digging up many of their older games, but the quirky platformer RPG, Threads of Fate, still hasn’t gotten a proper sequel. Never fear though the doujin market has an unofficial sequel that throws the spoiled Princess Mint into another game. Duo Princess makes Maya, Mint’s younger sister, a playable character. And poor Rue, the other playable character in Threads of Fate, is reduced to a cameo. Ouch. I guess shape shifting into monsters isn’t nearly as cool as whining about not being crowned a princess.
