The Ninja Warriors Is Getting A Remaster In The Vein Of Wild Guns Reloaded

Natsume and Taito are remastering The Ninja Warriors as The Ninja Warriors Once Again for the Nintendo Switch. It is a remaster in the same vein as Wild Guns Reloaded. The game is set to come out in 2019 and will be playable at TGS 2018.

The original The Ninja Warriors was a beat ‘em up developed by Natsume and published by Taito in 1994, and for the remaster, they will be adding 16:9 widescreen support, two new characters, as well as co-op multiplayer.

 

Characters

Apart from the original trio of Kunoichi, Ninja, and Kamaitachi, two new characters called Yaksha and Raiden will be added. Here are their profiles translated below:

 

Kunoichi

A balanced type character. She’s a female-type android and excels at speedy strikes and air combat. She attacks with her kunai and the blade on her back.

 

Ninja

A power-type character. He’s an android with a burly body. Although he’s quite slow, he makes up for that with his strength. He attacks using steel nunchuks, and specializes in throwing opponents.

 

Kamaitachi

A speed-type character. Using its exceptional speed, it attacks enemies with quick strikes from the blades on his arms and its hidden sword.

 

Yaksha

A technical-type character. She’s a small female-type android designed to partake in covert operations. Using her flexible arm, which can stretch at will, she can attack in an unpredictable manner.

 

Raiden

A heavy-type character. It can transform between a humanoid Crusher Mode, and a flying Blaster Mode. With a 4m tall body, it possesses the strongest destructive power among the cast.
