Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD was discussed during the September 13, 2018 Nintendo Direct. It was revealed that the game is now immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. It is $29.99, though a 40% off discount is currently in effect to celebrate its launch.

This comes after Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD’s PlayStation 4 and Xbox One debut. It launched on both systems on September 7, 2018. As a reminder, that was one day after the September 2018 Nintendo Direct was supposed to take place.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition first debuted on Android and Apple iOS devices on February 9, 2018.
