Splatoon 2’s Next Splatfests Ask About Red Bean Paste And Lifestyle Choices

Recommended Videos

Splatoon 2 has announced the next Splatfests to take place in Japan, and the North American and European regions respectively. Japan’s Splatfest asks what type of anko (red bean paste) people like better, while the Western Splatfest is all about lifestyle.

The Splatfest for North America and Europe asks: Retro or Modern? Old-school cool or hip-and-happening? Are you all about that retro life or do you crave the sleekness of modernity?

The Splatfest will start at 9pm PT on September 21, 2018 and last for a day until September 22, 2018 at 9pm PT. For European players, that’s 3pm UCT on September 21, 2018 to 3pm UCT on September 22, 2018.

Meanwhile, in Japan the Splatfest has once again turned to the realm of food, asking whether players like Tsubuan (Boiled azuki beans) or Koshi-An (cooked, pureed azuki beans). Both types are commonly used to make red bean soup for dessert.

Japan’s Splatfest takes place from September 23, 2018 at 3pm JST to 3pm JST on September 24, 2018.

Splatoon 2 is available for Nintendo Switch.
