Puyo Puyo eSports Officially Announced For PlayStation 4 And Switch

A new Puyo Puyo game was seemingly rated in South Korea earlier this month, and Sega made it official by announcing Puyo Puyo eSports for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

 

Puyo Puyo eSports is described as a new entry in the Puyo Puyo series made with eSports in mind. In addition to the Puyo Puyo 2 rules, it’ll come with two rules from Puyo Puyo Fever. It features familiar characters as well as characters from Puyo Puyo!! Quest, and more to have 24 characters to play.

 

The game features Internet Versus and Tournament Modes. More information will be revealed in the near future.

 

Puyo Puyo eSports releases in Japan on October 25, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It’ll be available exclusively as a digital title for 1,990 yen.
