Lapis x Labyrinth Gets New Gameplay Footage At TGS 2018

Nippon Ichi Software showed off some gameplay for Lapis x Labyrinth today on 4Gamer’s TGS livestream, including party formation and how gameplay works in-depth.

 

They also explained that the game was originally meant to have six job classes, but because of how enthusiastic the development team were, they were able to expand the number of jobs to eight instead. While party formation is important, it depends on your playstyle, as people who are confident in their platforming and action game skills can forgo including the healer-type Bishop character in their Dango party.

 

Between floors in the dungeon, you also get a ‘Snack Time’ rest period, where you can use items for healing and more.

Lapis x Labyrinth will make its Japanese debut on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on November 29, 2018. While a release in Asia has been confirmed, a worldwide release has not yet been set. In case you missed it, here is a deep dive going over its characters and gameplay mechanics.
