Developers Say That PSN Name Changing Will Be Possible Soon

Recommended Videos

After 12 years since the launch of PlayStation Network, PlayStation users might finally be able to change their usernames, according to multiplayer game developers. [Thanks, Kotaku!]

According to several developers from different game studios, who spoke anonymously, the teams working on those multiplayer games have been tweaking settings and searching for bugs so that their games will be compatible with this change. Another person shared a screenshot of an updated PSN Profile that had the “edit username” option present, as part of a document on how to change your username.

Sony has declined commenting on this matter.
