On whether there’s a chance we’ll see a port of the Wii U RPG Xenoblade Chornicles X for the Switch, Takahashi said:

“Personally speaking, I’d love to play the game on the Switch, but it would be really difficult to make it.”

When asked to elaborate on the roadblocks that stand in the way of making it happen, “Money,” Takahashi responded with a laugh. “It’s a massive game. Re-creating it would be really difficult.”

Xenoblade Chronicles X released in December 2015 for Wii U.
