Bandai Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada announced that with Tekken 7 surpassing 3 million in worldwide sales just before a year from its release, the series has reached 47 million copies in sales.

Here’s the tweet from Harada, along with a special illustration to mark the occasion:

“Celebration illustration”.
TEKKEN7 had achieved Over 3million sales before one year passed from release, but there was no timing to upload this (That’s why there is no Anna, Lei..).

Tekken 7 released back in June 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but it was out a couple years before that on Japanese arcades back in March 2015. As for the Tekken series, the very first entry released for arcades around the world in December 1994, followed by a release on PlayStation in Japan in March 1995 and North America and Europe in November of that year.
