Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC was announced during the latest Nintendo Direct. While none of the new characters have been revealed, there will be five additional characters released after launch. Work has not yet begun on them, they do not have a release date, and it may take a year or so to release all of these additional fighters.
However, some details about the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC characters were discussed. Each of the five will be available in a $5.99 pack that includes one character, one stage, and one song. There will also be a Fighters Pass that gives people all five.
A bonus for purchasing the pass has been revealed. A Mii Fighter costume of Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be given to people who get it. It is a Swordfighter outfit. You can get it on December 7, 2018.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will come to the Nintendo Switch on December 7, 2018.
