New Sakura Wars Game Will Not Be Coming Out Fiscal Year 2019

Sega has removed New Sakura Wars from its recent financial results, meaning that the game will not be released before March 31, 2019, when Fiscal Year 2019 ends. (Thanks, Dualshockers!)

Originally, the game was stated to launch within this Fiscal Year, according to the Entertainment Contents Business section of Sega’s financial results released in May 2018. Other games mentioned within the report include Yakuza 6 and Shenmue I & II.

Not much is known about the Sakura Wars game at the moment, except that it is set in the year Taisho 29 (1940) and that it’s headed to modern platforms.
