8BitDo GBros Wireless Adapter Lets You Use A GameCube Controller Wirelessly On The Nintendo Switch

A new 8BitDo peripheral has been announced that might prove handy for Nintendo Switch and PC gamers. The company will release a GBros Wireless Adapter that allows people to use a GameCube controller, or even the NES Classic Controller, SNES Classic Controller, or Wii Classic Controller wirelessly with the Nintendo Switch or PC. It will be $19.99 when it launches on December 7, 2018.

The GBros Wireless Adapter works normally with a Nintendo Switch, while on PCs it works with X-input compatible games. (There is a switch on the device which you flip to the appropriate input to ensure it connects.) When using it with the Nintendo Switch, the green star and red heart buttons are used for taking screenshots or going to the Home menu during play. On the PC, you can use a Turbo function with your controllers.

The 8BitDo GBros Wireless Adapter will be released on December 7, 2018 and work with the Nintendo Switch and PC. As a reminder, this is the same day Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will come to the Nintendo Switch.
