Uncharted Waters IV Sails To Smartphones This December In Japan

Koei Tecmo announced that its 2006 Nintendo DS simulation RPG, Uncharted Water IV, titled Daikoukai Jidai IV: Rota Nova in Japan, is headed to smartphones this December.

 

Daikoukai Jidai IV: Porto Estado released on the PlayStation and PC back in 1999 and the remake of it released as Daikoukai Jidai IV: Rota Nova on PSP and DS. The smartphone version is based on the DS version with added functions and graphics to make it easier to play on smartphone.

 

It also adds a new auto-save function and new network based features, and more.

 

Uncharted Waters IV releases for iOS and Android in Japan this December. It’ll cost 1,900 yen but there will be a sale to bring it down to 1,400 yen for the eight days after launch.
