Here Are Your PlayStation Awards 2018 Winners, Including The First Platinum Prize In 7 Years

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia hosted its annual PlayStation Awards ceremony today, where several top-selling games were given awards across various categories.

 

The PlayStation Awards 2018 saw the first Quadruple Platinum Prize in seven years, since Monster Hunter Portable 3rd won it in 2011. Here are the winning titles and their publishers for this year’s awards:

 

Quadruple Platinum Prize – Titles that have reached over four million copies in accumulated shipments, including digital sales, in Japan and Asia):

  • Monster Hunter: World (PS4) – Capcom

 

Platinum Prize – Titles that have reached over a million copies in accumulated shipments, including digital sales, in Japan and Asia):

  • The Last of Us Remastered (PS4) – Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • Persona 5 (PS4) – Atlus

 

Gold Prize – Titles that have reached over 500,000 copies in accumulated shipments, including digital sales, in Japan and Asia):

  • Super Robot Wars V (PS4/PSV) – Bandai Namco
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 (PS4) – Konami
  • Gran Turismo Sport (PS4) – Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • Call of Duty: World War II (PS4) – Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • God of war (PS4) – Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2018 (PS4/PSV) – Konami
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4) – Sony Interactive Entertainment

 

PlayStation Network Award – Top-3 best-selling network titles from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018:

  • FIFA 18 (PS4) – Electronic Arts
  • Monster Hunter: World (PS4) – Capcom
  • Fortnite (PS4) – Epic Games

 

Users’ Choice Award – Top-10 titles that released between October 1, 2017 to September 30,2 018 and received the most votes from fans in Japan and Asia:
