Arc of Alchemist Takes Us Through Tactical Action RPG Battles In Its Vast Desert Setting

Compile Heart released a new gameplay video for their tactical action RPG, Arc of Alchemist, with an updated look at its battles with a new trailer that shows more gameplay in the game’s vast desert setting.

The basic attacks simply require you to hit the circle button a few times for a combo, and you can also launch a projectile attack with the square button. You’ll get all kinds of different Actions based on the weapons you have equipped.

The partner characters in your party move and attack automatically. You can return to your base to switch out party members at any time. For example, you might want to go with Shalon when you want some more ranged attack, or Sandra for some extra defense. You can take a look at more of its characters in our earlier report.

Arc of Alchemist releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 7, 2019. It’ll release in other regions in Summer 2019. Check out its latest gameplay featuring battles, boss fights, and buildings in our previous report.
