One of the most heavily teased and alluded to games ahead of The Game Awards 2018 was Crash Team Racing, with Activision and the Spyro the Dragon Twitter account both hinting it was on the way. Now, it has been officially revealed. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled will return on June 21, 2019 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Beenox has rebuilt and remastered the original game.

As a reminder, Crash Team Racing is a kart racer known power-ups, weapons, and power slides. People could play in Adventure, Arcade, Battle, Time Trial, and Versus mode with up to four people in the original. It allowed you to play as fifteen different characters, like Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Gin, and Polar.

Crash Team Racing originally appeared on the PlayStation in 1999 in North America and Europe. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled will come to the PlayStation 4 on June 21, 2019. A standard version will be $39.99, while the Nitros Oxide Edition will be $59.99.
