Onimusha Warlords Comparison Video Shows How The Nintendo Switch Version Looks

Recommended Videos

While it will still be a short while before Onimusha: Warlords appears outside of Japan, a new comparison video helps give people a better idea of how this remaster compares to the original. Footage from Direct-Feed Games takes a look at the PlayStation 2 version of the game and puts it right alongside the Nintendo Switch updated release. It allows us to see what kind of an effect different improvements, like a new font, can have on the game.

The just over six minutes of footage is taken from the very beginning of Onimusha: Warlords and shows both cinematic scenes and Samanosuke in battles. That means there is no need to worry about spoilers here.

Onimusha: Warlords is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Japan. It will make its worldwide debut on January 15, 2018. When it does, it will also appear on the PC. It originally appeared on the PlayStation 2 in 2001 and the Xbox in 2002.
