PQube Explains Some Song Of Memories Localization Decisions

Recommended Videos

Back in December 2018, PQube revealed a delay for the console version of Song of Memories. Now, the company has taken to Twitter to discuss certain choices that have been made during the localization process for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. It noted that the Western and Japanese versions will be identical "content-wise," but a few alterations have been made.

PQube noted two localization choices, which it said were made for age rating boards (like the ESRB) and not console companies (like Sony). Characters’ ages will not be mentioned in the console versions and the school will be referred to as an "academy" throughout the game.

Here is PQube’s official tweet making the statement.

Song of Memories is immediately available for the PC and will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2019.
