One Piece: World Seeker Trailer Shows Its Open-World Side Quests With The Karma System

Recommended Videos

One Piece: World Seeker takes place on a giant open-world map known as Jail Island, and when you’re not taking on the main quests you’ll be doing plenty of side-questing as part of the “Pirate Karma” system.

Using the Karma System in One Piece: World Seeker, you’ll build on Luffy’s relationships with other characters on the island by completing side missions and other elements. By developing relationships with members of the Straw Hat Crew, residents, and rivals, Luffy unlocks new missions.

Depending on Luffy’s choices and interactions, Karma value gets assigned to each character. These apply to characters such rivals including Sakazuki and Cerma 66 as well as friends such as Sabo and Law.

One Piece: World Seeker releases in Japan on March 14, 2019 for PlayStation 4. The game releases in the West on March 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check our previous report for more on the game’s secret Sky Island, Trafalgar Law, and more on its story.
