Yo-Kai Watch 4 Gets A New Trailer And A Subtitle Inspired By Dragon Quest VIII

Level-5 have released the third trailer for Yo-Kai Watch 4, which shows off more world exploration, and how the game encompasses the exploration of four worlds, between Keita’s, Natsume’s, and Shin’s worlds, and the Yomakai where Yo-Kai originate from. Furthermore, Yo-Kai Watch 4 now is subtitled Looking Up at the Same Sky in Japan.

Level-5 president Akihiro Hino talked about how the reference to the sky in the subtitle is to represent how the world of Yo-Kai Watch has expanded into 3D, letting you look at the surroundings and sky even clearer. He talked about how when Level-5 developed Dragon Quest VIII, that series’ first 3D mainline game, they did a similar thing for the Japanese subtitle. (DQVIII‘s Japanese subtitle translates to Sky, Sea, Land & The Cursed Royalty)
