Final Fantasy IX’s Original Creators Take Us Behind The Scenes In A New Video Series

Final Fantasy IX’s latest port came to Switch and Xbox One last month, and Square Enix decided to take the occasion to look back at the classic with a new video series with its developers.

 

 

The first video of Inside Final Fantasy IX, which will take  deep dives into the legacy of the series with interviews featuring a variety of original creators, artists, and developers. The first one features producer Shinji Hashimoto, artist Toshiyuki Itahana, event designer Kazuhiko Aoki, and event planner Nobuaki Komoto.

 

Final Fantasy IX first released in Japan for PlayStation in July 2000. It has since then been ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
