The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild And Super Mario Odyssey Nintendo Labo VR Compatibility Announced

Nintendo has revealed two games which will be receive Nintendo Labo VR compatibility updates. Both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey will have VR modes. These will launch on April 25, 2019 and both be free.

 

The Super Mario Odyssey VR experience will be small samples. Three mini-missions in the Cap, Luncheon, and Seaside Kingdoms will be available. Mario will need to collect coins and musical notes in these areas.

 

In contrast, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild VR will let people play through all of the game in VR. Prerendered cutscenes will not be shown in VR. In the Options menu, people will be able to turn Nintendo Labo Toy-Con VR Goggle compatibility on or off. All save files will be compatible.

Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit will be released on April 12, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
