AI: The Somnium Files Gets Delayed A Couple Months To September 17 In North America

Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi’s next adventure game, AI: The Somnium Files, was expected to release in July but it’s been delayed a couple months in Japan and North America for quality improvement, Spike Chunsoft announced.

 

The original release date was July 25, 2019 for a worldwide release, but it has been delayed to September 17 in North America and September 19 In Japan. The new European release date hasn’t been announced.

 

Here’s a message from Spike Chunsoft regarding the delay:

“We deeply apologize for the change, but we would like to assure the community that it was necessary to ensure the best product possible. We know our fans are eagerly anticipating this title, and we will continue to strive to meet your expectations.”

 

AI: The Somnum Files releases for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in North America on September 17, 2019 and in Japan on Septembe 19, 2019. The game will also release in Europe. Check our previous report for an introduction to its main characters.
