A video showing off one of the most important Samurai Shodown characters has just been released. The game’s latest trailer focuses on Galford, a ninja who has appeared in the series since the original game back in 1993. (It also shows off Poppy, his husky assistant and known very good dog.)

Here is the Galford Samurai Shodown trailer. In it, we get to see Galford’s swordplay with his Justice Blade. We also get a chance to see how Poppy can be used to help attack opponents.

In case you missed it, Samurai Shodown trailers have also appeared for Nakoruru, Darli Dagger, Ukyo Tachibana, Shiki, Charlotte, Haohmaru, Genjuro, Tam Tam, and Rimururu.

Samurai Shodown will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan on June 27, 2019 and in Winter 2019 for the Switch and PC. The game will be released in the West for PS4 and Xbox One in June 2019.
