On June 18, 2019, NekoNyan launched an Aokana Kickstarter to create physical editions of the visual novel. Later that same day, it met and passed its €10,000 ($11,193) goal. As of 7:40am CT on June 19, 2019, it even met its first stretch goal of €25,000 (~$28,000). This means the shikishi F board design will be available at funding tiers four and higher.

Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue is a visual novel where players follow Masaya Hinata. He was a prodigy with Anti-Graviton Shoes, which essentially allowed people to fly. He have up on his dream of taking part in the Flying Circus. Now, he’s acting as a coach for a team of young women who are going to fly through the sky, starting with a transfer student named Asuka Kurashina. He’ll work with her and Misaki Tobisawa, Mashiro Arisaka, and Rika Ichinose.

The lowest amount of money someone can pledge for the Aokana Kickstarter’s physical editions and get a copy of the game is €60 ($67). This will give people a Steam key for the game in a physical collector’s box, a visual fan book, a poster, and a clear file folder, as well as a digital desktop background, backerkit access, and backer updates. The €90 ($101) tier three adds a physical copy of the soundtrack to the loot. Tier four, which requires a €140 ($157) pledge, gives you all of that and two of the possible shikishi designs and one of the eight tapestry designs. Other tiers add things like acrylic figures, dakimakuras, bed sheets, a DIN A3 acrylic board, crystal stands, and your name in the credits. All have an estimated December 2019 release window.

As for stretch goals, there are four for the Aokana Kickstarter. The first was already met and added one shikishi design. The €35,000 and €45,000 goals add two more shikishi design options, while the €60,000 goal adds a shikishi storage case to people who pledge at tier six or higher.

The Aokana Kickstarter will run until July 30, 2019. Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue will head to PCs worldwide in late Summer 2019. It is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC in Japan.
