Sekai Project offered an update on the state of the Muv-Luv photonflowers^ side-story collection at Anime Expo 2019. The compilation now has a Summer 2019 release window. It will be available for PCs via Steam.

In Muv-Luv photonflowers*, people get to learn more about certain characters and what happened after specific endings. For example, Sumika’s Muv-Luv Extra ending gets an epilogue, while Captain Isumi and Sergeant Jinguuji each get backstories. In all, there are seven stories based on the events of Muv-Luv Extra and five based on Muv-Luv Alternative.

Here’s a video showing the Muv-Luv photonflowers* opening movie.

This news follows a March 15, 2019 Kickstarter update that the Muv-Luv photonflowers* beta had been released for backers. It also confirmed work was underway on the other supplemental story collection, Muv-Luv photonmelodiesâ™®.

Muv-Luv photonflowers* originally appeared on the PlayStation 3. It will come to the PC in Summer 2019.
