Here’s The Studio Trigger Shantae 5 Opening Movie

In honor of Anime Expo 2019, WayForward has offered everyone a first look at the opening movie for Shantae 5. A 30-second clip of the Studio Trigger animation has been released, showing how Shantae, Risky Boots, Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops all look in the segment.

 

WayForward revealed Studio Trigger’s involvement at the beginning of July 2019. At the time, in-progress images of Shantae and Risky were shared. We can see how the concept art influenced the final designs in the video below.

Shantae 5 will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Apple Arcade in 2019. Most recently, Studio Trigger worked on the Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, and Darling in the Franxx anime series.
